SEEME - the future

The HLF funded element of the SEEME project has now finished. However, all the partners involved in the project are determined to continue with our work as a legacy of the original project. We were very pleased to recieve a very positive evaluation of the project so far from heritage profesisonal Alison porter, who we commissioned to evaluate the project activities and outcomes. So please keep a look out for future events and activities.

SEEME documentary film shortlisted for award

SEEME aninimated film

One of the the short animated documentary films created by the SEEME project was short-listed for an award at the Kids for Kids Film competition and hown at the British Film Institute located on the Southbank, London, on Saturday 26th October. Award winning film maker Jamie McDine worked with students Holbrook Primary School, Clarendon Academy and Matravers School on three short animated films based on the stories of elders in our community.

The film created by the Holbrook Primary School students, called 'First Impressions,' has been shortlisted in the 6 -12 years of age category.  See Kids for Kids for further details. Although we did not win, we did get a special mention by the judges and the school received a certificate of attainment. Well done to all involved.
